The experience
Eighteen ziplines over 11 waterfalls is the core of this activity, but the setup matters: you start with a safety briefing from bilingual guides, then ride a 4x4 into the mountain forest to reach the first platform. From there you move through the canopy on the cables, cross a suspension bridge between platforms, complete an easy rappel, and finish with a swim in a natural waterfall pool. All zipline and safety equipment is provided. The whole experience takes about 5 hours from the moment you leave the cruise port.
Round-trip transportation from Puntarenas or Caldera cruise port is included, along with an air-conditioned vehicle for the ride to Adventure Park & Hotel Vista Golfo. Pickup and return times are timed to your ship's schedule so you don't miss departure. Wear comfortable sports clothing with a bathing suit underneath, and closed-toe shoes are mandatory. Bring a towel. Lunch and drinks are available to purchase at the restaurant on-site, but are not included in the booking.
The activity suits cruise passengers with at least a moderate level of fitness who are comfortable with heights and physical movement. Children from age 6 can join if accompanied by an adult. A weight limit of 260 pounds applies. The experience is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health, pregnancy, or walking disabilities.
