The experience

You start in the saddle, riding into rainforest that opens onto ocean-view lookout spots and private waterfalls. The route passes working Costa Rican farms and rivers. You'll cool off in a natural swimming pool before heading to the chocolate farm. A bilingual guide leads the whole day and handles the logistics: no need to arrange transport from Jaco or Los Suenos, both within 10 minutes of the property.

The chocolate half is hands-on. You'll see the International Cacao collection grown on the farm, taste the fresh cacao fruit before it's processed, and walk through the production steps. Then you mix your own chocolate with tropical fruits and prepare a drink using the farm's ingredients: the kind of thing most visitors only read about.
