The experience
Two hours starts with a walk through the cacao and coffee plantations on the farm's trails. You'll see the diversity of plants and birds that grow alongside the crops, and the farm takes you to a waterfall on the property. The route moves through the working parts of the farm (you watch how sugarcane gets processed) before arriving at the chocolate workshop where the hands-on part begins.
In the workshop, you make your own chocolate bar from cacao grown on the farm. This is not a demonstration you watch. You do the work with instruction from the guide. The chocolate you make is yours to take home. The farm's approach is "from the seed to the palate": the idea that you see where the cacao starts and finish by making the product yourself.
