The experience
The farm opens with a welcome to its history and biodiversity, then moves straight into the vineyard where you learn the cultivation and harvest of Sauvignon and Isabelita grapes and taste them fresh off the vine. From there you walk the Zen garden, a quiet corner with a ravine, local bird species and native plants, before moving to the cocoa fields to see how the crop grows and learn its role in reforestation. You taste the cocoa fruit itself, then head to the Thermopylae Gorge for views of the mountains and the Frío River, where you can bathe in the natural water.
The chocolate factory shows the drying and processing of cocoa beans, and you taste cocoa nibs and artisanal chocolate made on-site. The wine cellar follows, where you watch the fermentation process and taste the finished wine. Each day ends in the wet area with a pool and barbecue space to relax after the tastings and walking.
On the final day you visit the Termópilas store to browse regional gifts and souvenirs before the experience closes. A live guide who speaks Spanish leads all three days, walking you through each stage of cultivation and production so you understand what you're tasting.
