Shanghai Museum comes next, holding over 4,000 pieces including bronze, calligraphy, ceramics and jade that trace the city's heritage. The final stop is Xintiandi, the old French Concession, where restored shikumen buildings now hold pubs and restaurants mixing Western style with traditional Shanghai.
