The experience

After pickup at your Tianjin hotel, you have two hours in the car to talk through what actually interests you: the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, the Summer Palace's lakes and pavilions, the Temple of Heaven, the Lama Temple, or Old Beijing Hutongs. Your guide knows each site well enough to help you pick based on what you want to spend time on, not what fits a schedule. You'll visit two major attractions, and if time allows, a third stop or shopping at Silk Market or Pearl Market.

Lunch is a local meal included in the day, and entrance fees for your two chosen attractions are covered. The guide speaks English or Chinese depending on your preference. You get a private vehicle for the whole tour, so there's no waiting for other groups or adjusting the pace to strangers. Bottled water is provided throughout the day.

The tour runs eight hours total. You can arrange to end back at your Tianjin hotel or at a Beijing hotel instead, depending on which option you select at checkout. If you're visiting the Forbidden City, bring your passport. The operator needs your name and number at booking, and the site closes Mondays.
