The moment you step into Tiananmen Square, the scale hits you — the Tiananmen Rostrum rises ahead, the Great Hall of the People spreads to your left, and the Monument to the People's Heroes anchors the center. The small group tour meets at Laoshe Teahouse with three daily departure slots, so you're not locked into a single time. The private tour also meets at Laoshe Teahouse but lets you pick your own departure hour. The premium private option adds hotel pickup and drop-off from downtown Beijing, plus a dedicated driver, so you don't have to figure out transport or timing at all. That last one is the only package that includes the return trip back to your hotel; the others end at the Imperial Garden and you arrange your own way back.

The whole thing takes three hours if you're guided, which is enough to see the core sites without rushing through them or spending the afternoon on your feet. Infants can sit on a lap or ride in a stroller if you're bringing one. The entrance fees are included no matter which package you pick.
