The Experience

Valparaíso's artistic hills are the heart of this day. You start in Casa Blanca Valley, where a wine shop tasting introduces local products before the route climbs into the neighborhoods that earned the city its UNESCO status. The streets themselves are the attraction here — colorful houses, murals, graffiti and architecture layered across steep terrain that no two blocks repeat. La Sebastiana House Museum opens onto a panoramic view of the port, and one of Valparaíso's most famous elevators carries you between the hillside levels, a working piece of the city's infrastructure that has moved residents and visitors for over a century.

The walk through Cerro Alegre follows, then a descent to the waterfront where you stand at the shore and watch the bay and the boats. Acapulco Beach comes next — a few minutes to step onto the sand near the Vergara Pier — before the route turns toward Viña del Mar. The Flower Clock is the photo stop there, and nearby stands an original Moai from Easter Island, displayed outside the Fonck Museum. The day closes with the return journey to your hotel.
