The Experience

The tour starts with pickup from your Santiago hotel and a 45-minute drive to Santa Rita in the foothills of Alto Jahuel, Buin. A guide leads the group through the grape variety garden, then into the winemaking and cellaring process, stopping at Bodega 1—the winery's first cellar—and the Cellar of the 120 Patriots, where the story behind the 120 wine unfolds. The route covers the bottling process and moves through the beautiful gardens that frame the Maipo Valley, all with a small group that stays under eight people.

The tasting comes at the end and focuses on three premium reserve wines you won't encounter on the regular tour: Casa Real Reserva Especial, Triple C, and Pehuén. Each is paired with a cheese board and dried fruits. You also get a free engraved wineglass as a souvenir and complimentary entry to the Museo Andino museum on the grounds. Bottled water and live commentary in English, Spanish or Portuguese are included throughout.

The morning and afternoon options both take four hours total. Hotel pickup and drop-off in an air-conditioned minivan are included, so you don't arrange transport to the winery or back to Santiago. Children can join if accompanied by two paying adults and receive juice tasting and a glass gift instead of wine.
