The day starts with hotel pickup in Santiago at 7:30am. Your guide confirms the exact time the day before. On the drive to Valparaiso, you stop in Curacaví town for a rest, coffee and local pastries. Then you enter Valparaiso itself, the main port of Chile and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2003. Your guide leads you through the best locations: the viewpoints, the alleys, the street art, and a ride on a vintage funicular. Some of the walking involves stairs, but the van stays close if you'd rather stay inside and rest.

After Valparaiso, you have time to buy souvenirs or grab food before heading inland to Casablanca valley. This is where Chile produces its signature wines: Carmenere, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and the sparkling whites the region is known for. You stop at one winery for a tasting and to see the vineyard views. The shop offers sale prices if you want to buy. Then it's the final leg to San Antonio port, where you're dropped at the cruise ship terminal by 2:30pm with your luggage.
