Step-by-step itinerary
Explore Cayman Islands by Jetski
- Swim and snorkel with stingrays
- Relax and swim at Rum Point
- Visit secluded Starfish Point beach
The Experience
You drive your own jetski between three stops across Grand Cayman's North Sound, starting at Stingray City—a series of shallow sandbars where southern stingrays gather in abundance. The water here runs 3–4 feet deep, so you stand while the stingrays glide past and around you. You can touch them, watch them feed, and snorkel in the same water they inhabit. A guide leads the experience and handles the logistics; you bring only the willingness to get in.
From there you jetski to Rum Point, a laid-back beach with powder-white sand and calm turquoise water built for swimming and snorkeling. The beach has bars and facilities, so you can rest between water time if you want. The final leg takes you to Starfish Point, a quieter, secluded stretch where colorful starfish often rest along the shallow, clear bottom—another snorkeling moment in a different kind of water. The whole arc takes three hours, moving between sites by jetski and spending time in the water at each one.
Pickup is included from your hotel or accommodation, and you'll wear a life vest for the jetski portions. Snorkeling equipment—mask, fins, snorkel—comes with the tour. The guide speaks English and stays with the group throughout. Children from age 5 can join; infants sit on an adult's lap during the jetski ride. The tour is not recommended for pregnant travelers.
