The Experience
The day starts with pickup from selected Downtown Toronto locations in a climate-controlled bus. Your guide provides informative commentary during the drive and stops periodically for photos, so you get context and moments to frame the landscape as it unfolds. The route takes you through the region before arriving at the winery, where staff walk you through how the wines were made and the facility's history before you taste a selection.
Lunch is a three-course meal—appetizer, entrée, dessert, and a choice of drinks—at a restaurant overlooking the Falls. In fall and winter months you dine at Table Rock House Restaurant; in spring and summer, Queen Victoria Place Restaurant serves the same meal with the same view. A vegetarian option is available. After lunch, you have free time at Table Rock Welcome Centre to walk up close to the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, feel the mist, take photographs, and explore the complex at your own pace.
The Hornblower boat ride is a 20-minute journey that brings you face-to-face with the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and the thundering Canadian Horseshoe Falls—a protective recyclable mist poncho is provided. From May through November, you ride the Hornblower; during winter, Journey Behind the Falls becomes the alternative when the boat tour closes. After the boat experience, the tour includes free time in Niagara-on-the-Lake to walk the historic streets, visit boutique shops, and photograph the old-world architecture. The day ends with a return to your original pickup location in Toronto.
