Next comes the bamboo train—the original Ou Srauo Laou that runs on a single rail through the landscape. Before arriving at Phnom Sampou, you'll see and taste KFR, rat barbecue, a popular local snack. A motor taxi or pickup truck takes you up the mountain, where the guide explains the Killing Cave and the Khmer Rouge period (1975–1979), when over 10,000 victims were killed there.
