The experience
The tour picks you up from your hotel in Foz do Iguacu or Puerto Iguazu and crosses into Paraguay to reach one of the world's three biggest shopping centers. The scale is the draw: imports from well-known brands sit under duty-free pricing, which means the same products cost less than they do in Brazil or Argentina. A professional guide leads the group, capped at 15 travelers, through the shopping hub and handles the logistics of the border crossing.
What you buy is up to you. The guide points you toward the main sections and stays available, but the five hours are yours to spend as you want. Keep in mind that each person can bring back up to US$500 duty-free. Anything over that amount gets taxed at 50% when you return to Brazil. You'll need your passport and should check visa requirements for Paraguay before booking. If you're picked up in Puerto Iguazu, there's a local eco-tourism tax to pay on arrival. The guide will explain the amount when you book.
The return transfer gets you back to your hotel by the end of the afternoon. Brazilian passengers on this tour receive transportation only and arrange a meeting time and place with the guide separately. Yellow fever vaccination is required at least 10 days before travel, and you should bring your receipt for the eco-tourism tax to avoid being charged twice at the border.
What’s included
- Round-trip hotel transfer from downtown Foz do Iguacu or Puerto Iguazu hotels.

Top questions

Yes. Ticket types: Child (3 to 12 years); Infant (under 3): free.
How much time do I actually have to shop during the five hours?
The five-hour tour includes round-trip transfer from your hotel and time to cross the border, so your shopping time is less than the full duration. The guide will let you know how much browsing time remains once you reach the hub.
Do I need a visa to enter Paraguay from Brazil?
Visa requirements depend on your nationality. You are responsible for checking whether you need a visa or travel document before booking. The operator cannot arrange these for you. Bring your valid passport on the day of travel.
What happens if I spend more than US$500 at the shopping hub?
Each person can bring back up to US$500 duty-free when returning to Brazil. Anything over that amount is taxed at 50% when you cross back, so plan your purchases with that limit in mind.
Is there an extra cost if I'm picked up in Puerto Iguazu instead of Foz do Iguacu?
If your hotel is in Puerto Iguazu, you'll pay a local eco-tourism tax when you arrive in Paraguay. This fee is not included in the tour price and is subject to change. The guide will tell you the amount when you confirm your booking. Keep your receipt to avoid being charged twice.
