The natural pools appear only at low tide, so the raft ride is optional and depends on the day's schedule. If the timing works, you float out to pools that form in the reef. If not, or if you want something different, buggy rides run to Pontal de Maracaípe, Muro Alto and Praia do Cupe, each a separate stretch of coast you would not reach on foot.

The guide meets you at your hotel and handles the transport both ways. The village itself is the real draw. The beach is the place tourists come to see, and the water stays warm and clear year-round.
