The experience
The tour leaves from selected Mostar hotels in the morning and heads south toward the Adriatic coast. Trebinje sits on the route: a small town where you stop for a coffee break in the shade of hundred-year-old plane trees before the drive continues to Dubrovnik. The minivan is air-conditioned and the guide speaks English, so the three-hour journey gives you time to learn the region's history and what to expect when you arrive.
Once in Dubrovnik, the day is yours. The tour does not dictate an itinerary. Instead, you have the full afternoon and evening to move through the city at your own pace. The walled old town is the draw: narrow streets, limestone buildings, the harbor view from the ramparts. Many visitors walk the city walls, a circuit that takes a couple of hours and offers views across the Adriatic. Lokrum island lies just offshore and is reachable by a short ferry ride. It has beaches, a botanical garden and the ruins of a Benedictine monastery. If you prefer, the Game of Thrones tour is another option, following filming locations around the city. The guide does not accompany you into Dubrovnik. You explore independently and meet the minivan for the return journey to Mostar in the evening.
Hotel pickup and drop-off are included for selected hotels in Mostar. The whole day runs about ten hours from start to finish. Bring comfortable walking shoes and water. The city walls and the streets are uneven stone, and there is little shade at midday.

Top questions
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Youth (13 to 17 years); Child (3 to 12 years); Infant (under 3): free.
How much time do I actually have to spend in Dubrovnik itself?
The tour is ten hours total, and the drive from Mostar takes roughly three hours each way. That leaves you a full afternoon and evening in Dubrovnik: enough time to walk the city walls, visit Lokrum island, or explore the old town at a leisurely pace without rushing.
What is Trebinje, and how long do we stop there?
Trebinje is a small town in Bosnia and Herzegovina on the route south to Dubrovnik. The stop is a coffee break, long enough to sit in the shade and rest before the final leg of the drive to the coast.
Is the guide with me the whole time in Dubrovnik, or do I explore on my own?
You explore Dubrovnik independently. The guide and minivan transport you there and back, but once you arrive, the day is unstructured. You choose whether to walk the walls, visit Lokrum island, follow a Game of Thrones route, or wander the old town streets on your own.
What is included in the price, and what do I need to pay for separately?
The tour includes the driver-guide, transport in an air-conditioned minivan, hotel pickup and drop-off, and local taxes. Food and drinks are not included, so you'll buy your own coffee in Trebinje and meals in Dubrovnik.
Can I get to Lokrum island from Dubrovnik, or is it part of the organized tour?
Lokrum island is not part of the organized itinerary. It's a recommendation for how to spend your free time in Dubrovnik. A short ferry runs from the harbor to the island throughout the day, and you can visit it on your own if you choose.
Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the minivan and all areas of Dubrovnik's old town are wheelchair accessible. Infants can travel in a pram or stroller, and specialized infant seats are available in the vehicle. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
