Four separate adventures in one package, and you pick which ones to do.

Excalibur Adventure Package in Belize lets you choose up to four guided activities in a single afternoon: ziplining across the jungle canopy on a 1,200-foot line, climbing Belize's first via ferrata with four suspended bridges, rappelling 50 feet down a painted rock wall, or tubing the manatee river. The package runs about five and a half hours and includes a guide in English or Spanish, all safety gear, and access to natural swimming pools and nature trails. Children from age 4 are welcome. Non-participants can join free and use the pools and trails.

The experience

The zipline is the anchor: a 1,200-foot line over the Manatee Forest Reserve canopy that reaches 25 mph with a state-of-the-art braking system built to let you control your own speed. It's the opener, the thing that sets the pace for everything that follows. From there, you pick. The via ferrata is Belize's first and only: a 1,000-foot climbing course with four suspended bridges, including a 264-foot Tibetan Bridge that crosses a valley. The rappel drops 50 feet down a painted rock wall on guide-controlled equipment with no room for error. River tubing runs along the manatee river when water levels allow. If the flow is too high or too low, that slot opens up for something else instead.

The day is built around choice, not a fixed itinerary. You arrive, gear up with harness, helmet and headlamp, and work with your guide to pick which four activities suit your appetite. A non-participant (a family member who wants to be there but not climb or zip) pays nothing and has access to the natural swimming pools a five-minute walk from the main buildings, the nature trails, and Panthera Playground, a smaller version of the zipline and via ferrata built for kids. The whole site includes Billy Webb Bar & Grill, an outdoor restaurant where you can buy food and drinks between activities.

Top questions

What languages is the guide in?

Live guide in English and Spanish.

Can children come?

Yes. Ticket types: Youth (10 to 17 years); Child (4 to 9 years). Under 4: they can't be included in the booking.

What happens if it rains?

It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.

What's the 1,200-foot zipline actually like?

The Zona Mágica zipline crosses the Manatee Forest Reserve canopy and reaches speeds of 25 mph. You control your own braking with a state-of-the-art system, so the speed is yours to manage. It's designed to be safe and enjoyable, not just fast.

Can I do all four activities in one afternoon, or do I have to choose?

You choose up to four from the list: ziplining, via ferrata climbing with suspended bridges, rappelling, river tubing, or the Copali Cave experience. The package runs about five and a half hours, so not every combination fits in one day. Your guide helps you pick based on what you want and how much time each takes.

What if I'm not comfortable with heights or climbing?

The rappel is guide-controlled and takes 50 feet down a painted rock wall with state-of-the-art safety systems, so you're never managing the descent alone. If heights aren't your thing at all, river tubing and the cave experience don't involve climbing or exposure. Your guide can walk you through what each activity feels like before you commit.

Is there anything for family members who don't want to do the adventure activities?

Non-participants join free and have full access to the natural swimming pools, nature trails, and Panthera Playground. They're part of the day without paying or taking on any of the physical activities.

What's included in the package price?

All safety gear (harness, helmet, headlamp) a live guide in English or Spanish, access to nature trails and natural swimming pools, and GST are included. Food and drinks from Billy Webb Bar & Grill are separate. You buy what you want.

Is river tubing always available?

Jungle River Tubing along the manatee river is weather-dependent. If water levels are too low or too high, the activity can't run that day, and you'd choose a different adventure instead.
