The Experience

You start with a ten-minute introduction to the ATV—how to operate it, how to handle the terrain, what the helmet and eyewear are for—then head out into the villages of Cristo Rey and San Antonio. The bike is new, built to handle what comes next: mud puddles, steep hills, vast stretches of rainforest where the trail narrows and opens again. Your guide is local and rides ahead, reading the terrain and setting the pace. The route runs through Elijio Panti National Park, where the trees tower and the ground shifts under the tires.

The waterfall sits at the end of a path no regular vehicle can take. When you arrive, the water is cold and the rocks are there to jump from if you want to.
