The tour operates on a fixed schedule—Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday mornings—and includes hotel pickup from coastal areas along the South and West Coast, bottled water, entrance fees and a licensed guide. If you book the house-and-distillery option alone, you'll spend your time inside the mansion and at the rum production facility. If you add the Heritage Railway option at checkout, you'll board a restored steam engine at the station for a ride out to Cherry Tree Hill and back, where you get sweeping views across the east coast. Because guests choose different options, there's some wait time built in while everyone completes their chosen experience—the grounds are spacious and worth exploring while you wait.

The group stays small, and a minimum of two people is required to run the tour; if that threshold isn't met at least 36 hours before departure, you'll be contacted to reschedule or receive a refund. Once you select your option at booking—house only or house plus railway—that choice is locked in and can't be changed later, so decide before you confirm.
