The experience

“You ever tried a real Bajan fish cutter?” That’s how our day started: our driver, Andre, grinning in the rearview as we pulled up to this tiny roadside shack somewhere between Bridgetown and Bathsheba. I’d barely finished my coffee at the hotel when he handed me a paper-wrapped sandwich that smelled like fried heaven. The bread was still warm.
