The experience

Cox's Bazar Beach runs 75 miles along the Bay of Bengal with no break in its sandy shoreline: the longest natural sea beach on earth. Your first day arrives around 9 AM, and after hotel check-in you visit Radiant Fish World, Bangladesh's largest sea fish aquarium, then spend the afternoon on the beach itself and at the local Rakhain Market. The second day takes you south to Himchari, about 18 kilometers away, where the road hugs the open sea on one side and hills on the other. From there you continue to Inani Beach, an 18-kilometer stretch known for its sharp black and green coral stones that surface most visibly in summer and rainy seasons. Pathorkhani, a hidden spot within Inani, sits in Jaliapalong.

The third day moves inland to Ramu, a Buddhist village 14 to 20 kilometers from Cox's Bazar, where you explore monasteries, khyangs, and pagodas carved with Buddha statues and intricate detail. Lunch happens at a local restaurant before you head to the airport for your return flight to Dhaka. Throughout the tour, an air-conditioned vehicle handles all transfers between sites, and your guide speaks English or Bengali. Breakfast comes at your hotel each morning. Lunch and dinner are at nearby restaurants on the itinerary. Two 500-milliliter bottles of mineral water per person arrive daily during the tour.
