The experience

The tour picks you up from your hotel and moves through four selected attractions across Bahrain, each chosen for what visitors most want to see. A guide accompanies you throughout, explaining the history and meaning of each place. Hotel drop-off is included at the end.

At Al Fateh Grand Mosque, the largest in the kingdom, you get a guided walk through the interior and the chance to try on traditional Bahraini clothing in the fitting room. The Bahrain National Museum follows, where the guide walks you through drawings, artifacts and displays that trace Bahraini culture, crafts and daily life from over 3000 BC through the discovery of oil. Bahrain Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005, sits on an artificial mound built up over centuries. You walk the archaeological grounds and learn how it was once the capital of the Dilmun civilization, with seven layers of occupation from 2300 BC to the 18th century. The tour ends at a camel farm open to the public, where you can see Bahraini camel breeds and feed them.

Bottled water is provided throughout. The guide may speak multiple languages. Gratuities and fuel surcharge are included in the price.
