Ziplining Cape Tribulation: 9 lines through rainforest canopy
Glide across ziplines strung through the canopy above the forest floor
Ziplining at Cape Tribulation with Treetops Adventures is a guided canopy tour where you operate nine ziplines and traverse suspension bridges high above the rainforest, starting with a shuttle ride to the course and ending on a 130-meter dual zipline. The guides provide ecosystem commentary at the start, then step back so you move through the course at your own speed. A moderate level of fitness and confidence at height is required. The walk to the course is steep and 200 meters long.

The experience
You'll start with a short shuttle ride from the meeting point to the base of the course. Once there, your guides walk you through the rainforest ecosystem and how the canopy works, then hand over the controls. Each zipline is set up so you clip in, push off, and glide across the treetops: at least nine different lines in total, interspersed with suspended walkways and staircases that let you catch your breath and take in the view. The guides stay on the course to help if you need it, but the pace is yours.
The tour builds toward a 130-meter dual zipline that closes out the experience. Before you reach it, you'll have crossed suspension bridges, climbed stairs through the canopy, and moved through both the dark understory and the open green above. The whole thing runs about two hours. Children from age 4 can join. If you're bringing a child aged 4 to 7, let the operator know ahead of time so they can arrange proper seating on the shuttle.
The walk to the course itself is steep and covers 200 meters on gravel, so come ready to move. You'll need at least a moderate level of fitness and comfort with heights. The course reaches up to 25 meters above the ground. Gear (harness, helmet, and the air-conditioned shuttle) is included. There's a weight limit of 120 kilograms, and you'll be weighed at check-in.
