The experience

You board a private pontoon boat with a captain who stays with you for the full eight hours. The day starts at Mangel Halto, where you enter the water with snorkel gear and explore the coral reefs at your own pace: no group schedule, no rushing between stops. After the reef, the boat takes you to Reef Island, where you can float in the mangroves on a paddleboard, swim, or simply sit with a drink and watch the water. The open bar runs all day: local rum, vodka, tequila and whisky, plus soft drinks and juices. Water shoes fit both adults and children, and floaties are on hand if you want them.

Lunch is a mixed sea and land platter served on the boat. Between swims, there are games (dominoes, cornhole, UNO, oversized Jenga), and a JBL speaker so you can play your own music. You're free to leave anytime after 9 AM. The captain adjusts the day around what you want to do. The boat, the snorkel gear, life jackets and paddleboard are all included, and the captain speaks English, Spanish and Dutch.
