Master kitesurfing with an instructor who prioritizes your safety

Private kitesurfing lessons in Aruba teach you to ride a kite-powered board across the water with a certified instructor in a two-hour session. You wear a harness connected to a kite bar that controls the kite's power, and the school provides all gear: kite, bar, harness, leash, helmet and water shoes. Instructors speak English, Spanish or Dutch and work with learners age 12 and up in a safe, controlled environment.

The experience

Kitesurfing combines surfing, windsurfing and wakeboarding into one sport: you wear a harness around your waist, hold a kite bar that steers the kite, and let the wind propel you across the water on a board. The school's instructors bring years of experience and build the lesson around safety first, teaching you proper technique from the start so you can progress without risk. All gear is included. You show up and learn.

The two-hour session is long enough to move past the basics and start feeling how the kite responds to your input, but short enough to fit into the rest of your day in Aruba. Instructors are available in English, Spanish and Dutch, and children as young as 12 can take lessons. The school accepts service animals and is located near public transportation if you're not driving.

What’s included

  • Complete kite gear including the kite, bar, harness, leash, helmet and water shoes.
  • all fees and taxes.
  • free WiFi access during your lesson.
