Step-by-step itinerary
Visit three wineries with tours and lunch
- Tour first winery and learn production
- Tour second winery and learn production
- Lunch and wine tasting at third winery
The experience
The tour starts with pickup in a high-end vehicle and heads into Luján de Cuyo, the wine region just outside Mendoza. At the first winery, founded in 1930 and rebuilt in 1998, you walk through the facilities and learn how the operation produces high-end wines aged in oak, stored in underground cellars. All their wines are 100% natural. The second winery follows the same format: a tour of the grounds, the production method, and the history behind the label.
Lunch happens at the third winery and lasts about three hours. The meal comes in courses paired with the winery's own wines, so you taste across their range while you eat. The driver stays with the vehicle throughout, and the guide (fluent in English, Spanish or Portuguese) stays with you. Bottled water is provided during the transfers between sites.
The tour runs seven to eight hours total. Because reservations depend on winery availability, the operator may substitute another winery in the same region if your first choice is booked. The minimum age is 18. Gratuities are not included in the price.
