The experience

The speedboat leaves Vlore and heads toward Haxhi Ali cave, a 20 to 30 minute journey along the coast. Once there, you can dive, snorkel or simply explore the cave's rock formations and the water inside it. From Haxhi Ali, the boat moves to Dafina Bay and its adjacent cave, where you have time to swim and snorkel while the crew serves drinks and snacks on board. The route then passes through Bristan Bay, English Bay, Skalome Bay and Petruni Bay: each one a separate stop with clear water and sand.

The centerpiece is the Blue Cave, a natural chamber where the water reflects a vivid blue from the rock and light. After the Blue Cave, the boat continues to Gjiri i Inglezit (English Beach), a quiet cove ringed by cliffs, and then to Gjiri i Llovizit and Gjiri i Nezhajve before the final stop at Grama Bay. At each beach and cave, you get free time to swim, explore and photograph. A professional guide travels with you throughout, and life jackets and safety gear are provided. The tour runs seven to eight hours total, and the boat returns to Vlore afterward.

Two ticket options are available: the basic Blue Cave tour includes fuel, the guide, insurance and life jackets. The Food, Beer & Drinks option adds fresh food and a variety of beverages on board. You cannot bring your own food aboard. Sunbeds and umbrellas are not included, and hotel pickup is not part of either option. The tour welcomes children from age five and suits all fitness levels, though it is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health or pregnancy.
