The drive from Nha Trang to Da Lat takes four hours each way through mountain passes and highland scenery. You leave before dawn to reach Da Lat by mid-morning, which gives the guide time to walk you through the Crazy House (the quirky, maze-like mansion that draws most visitors), and the Clay Tunnel, an underground passage carved into the hillside. By late morning you're ready for the Alpine Coaster at Datanla, a luge-style slide that drops through the pine forest. This is where most people book the ticket add-on if they haven't already.
Lunch is a local meal with Da Lat specialties (fresh vegetables, local meats) eaten at a restaurant the guide picks. Afterward comes the afternoon push: Mario Kart racing at Cao Nguyen Hoa (a high-altitude go-kart track) and the Rainbow Slide at Mongo Land, a water slide that runs year-round. Both are ticket add-ons. By mid-afternoon you stop at Me Linh Coffee Plantation to learn how weasel coffee is made and to look out over the valley before the drive back to Nha Trang, arriving around 8:30 p.m.
The guide speaks English or Vietnamese and stays with the group the whole day. Bottled water is provided. The itinerary is fixed, so everyone on the tour follows the same schedule and sees the same stops. If you want to linger at one site or skip another, this is not the format for that.

Top questions
What languages is the guide in?
Live guide in English and Vietnamese.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
How early do I need to wake up for this tour?
Pickup in Nha Trang happens between 4 and 4:30 a.m., so you need to be ready before dawn. The early start is what lets the tour fit five landmarks and two rides into one day and still get you back to Nha Trang by evening.
What is the Crazy House and why is it worth visiting?
The Crazy House is Da Lat's most famous landmark: a sprawling, surreal mansion with unfinished rooms, narrow staircases and quirky architecture that looks like it was designed without a plan. It's included in the tour and is the main photo stop most visitors come for.
Do I have to pay extra for the Alpine Coaster and the go-kart racing?
Yes, tickets for the Alpine Coaster, Clay Tunnel and Mario Kart racing are optional add-ons you can choose at checkout. Mongo Land's Rainbow Slide is included. Most people add at least the Alpine Coaster ticket because it's the signature ride in Da Lat.
Is lunch included?
Lunch is not included, but the guide takes the group to a local restaurant around noon where you can order and pay for your own meal. The stop lasts about an hour.
What time do we get back to Nha Trang?
The return journey starts around 5:30 p.m. and takes about three hours, so you arrive back in Nha Trang around 8:30 p.m.
