The experience

The signature treatment at Rosara works differently than standard spa massage. Instead of moving straight from oil massage to stone work, therapists spend 20 minutes on hand massage with oil, then place hot stones on your back over a towel layer. While the heat penetrates, they massage your feet with oil and heated stones, one foot at a time, so you feel the warmth and pressure working through muscle bundles simultaneously on different parts of your body. After the legs, they flip you over and massage your back directly with the hot stones, letting you feel the heat slowly sink through the towel into the deeper muscles underneath.

The spa sits halfway between the old town and the coast on Nguyen Hien Street, close enough to reach in 10 minutes by bicycle but far enough from the crowds that the treatment space stays quiet. Pickup and drop-off are arranged for you, and you arrive to a welcome drink (fruit, tea or another option) before the treatment begins. The facility includes a swimming pool you can use before or after your session.
