The experience
The morning starts at 9:00 with pickup and a drive to Akodong Village, where you meet your guide and enter an Ede longhouse to drink coffee and settle in. From 10:00 to 13:00, you work alongside the host family: walk their garden to gather fresh vegetables, then move into the kitchen to learn how they prepare their dishes. The family shares cooking secrets as you make the meal together, and afterward you sit down to eat what you cooked while hearing about Ede traditions and daily life. There is time to rest at the longhouse before the afternoon portion begins.
At 13:00, you leave for Dray Nur Waterfall, one of Dak Lak's most striking natural sites. The waterfall's powerful cascades drop into a pool surrounded by thick vegetation, and you have time to walk the area, swim if you want, and simply sit with the landscape. By 15:00 your guide brings you back to the city, ending the tour.
