A 3-day cycling and kayaking trip from Ho Chi Minh City through the Mekong Delta to Phnom Penh, staying in local homestays and traveling by bike, boat and speedboat. The experience

You start with a morning pickup at your Ho Chi Minh City hotel and transfer to the Mekong countryside. The first day is cycling: flat, quiet roads through villages, with local ferries crossing between them. You stay overnight in a homestay in Can Tho. The second day brings a boat trip to the floating market at dawn, then more cycling along the river bank and through villages, followed by a visit to Sam mountain for the sunset view toward Cambodia. You sleep in Chau Doc, the border town. On the third morning, a local driver picks you up early for the 7:30 am speedboat departure upstream to Phnom Penh. That's where the Vietnam portion ends.

The bikes are Trek or Giant models with helmets included. You'll cycle between 30 and 40 kilometers each day on flat terrain: the kind of roads where you notice the water, the houses, the people working. The boat trip, ferry crossings and speedboat ticket are all part of the package. Dinner is included. Breakfast and lunch are on your own. This is a joined group tour with a minimum of four guests. If fewer sign up, you can arrange a private departure by contacting the operator about extra fees.

E-bikes are available if you want them, with a daily surcharge. The guide speaks English. The homestays are in Can Tho and Chau Doc, not hotels, not resorts. The operator's guarantee is explicit: no stops at tourist areas, no shopping places, no detours. What you see is what locals see every day.

The speedboat departs at 7:30 am from Chau Doc pier. A local driver picks you up at your hotel early that morning and takes you to the pier. After you board, the Vietnam portion of the trip ends.
