The Experience

I woke up still half-dreaming of those giant stone hands holding up the Golden Bridge. We sat outside watching people wander by with ice cream cones melting fast in their hands (it gets warm up there even when it’s cloudy). Later we braved the tube slide (faster than I thought!) and ducked into Fantasy Park for some silly games—I lost badly at 5D Wild West shooting. On the way back down, Minh pointed out Da Nang far below through breaks in the trees; everything looked impossibly small and green from up here.
