The Experience

The day starts in the tropical gardens above the river, where your guide leads you down into the riparian rainforest toward the bridges landing. Once there, you begin the bridges circuit—three suspended crossings, each one built to test your balance and nerve a little more than the last. The first bridge is the gentlest introduction; by the third, you're stepping across with real awareness of the height and the river below. Each one is designed to push you past comfort without asking the impossible, and they're maintained to world-class safety standards.

After the final bridge, you descend a mini zipline to reach the river, where you can swim and cool off. The whole circuit takes between 2 and 4 hours depending on pace and how long you linger at the water. A local guide in English or French leads the group through the gardens and across the bridges, and light refreshments are included.

You'll need to bring towels, swimmers and reefwalkers (reef shoes) for the river section. Children ages 4 to 12 pay half price and must be accompanied by an adult; infants 3 and under go free.
