The experience
The day starts at the front desk 45 minutes before your tour time. You'll get fitted with safety equipment and walk through the braking system and what to expect on each line: the guides handle all stopping, so you're not managing speed yourself. A short shuttle ride takes you to the course in the forest.
The six ziplines carry you across roughly two miles of cable split into separate runs, each one a different angle through the trees. You'll reach heights up to 250 feet as you move from line to line, with trained guides stationed to assist and manage the braking. Water is provided at line five, the midpoint of the course.
The course sits just minutes from both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, so the location works whether you're staying in either town. Kids as young as 5 can zipline if an adult 18 or older stays with them the whole time. Weight limits run 45 to 275 pounds. The guides speak English and stay with your group throughout.
