The experience

You arrive at Foxfire Adventure Park in Sevierville and check in at the base. After you're weighed, a requirement for all participants, the guide walks you through the course layout. The zipline experience starts with three introductory lines to build confidence, then you ride up to the higher lines where the real thrill begins. You'll zip through the tree canopy, sail over the lost mine waterfall and the creek below, and cross a suspended swinging bridge that sways as you walk it. The whole run takes about two hours from start to finish.

The course itself is seven ziplines and two skybridges strung through the canopy above the water. A live guide stays with your group the entire time, managing the equipment and making sure everyone moves safely from one line to the next. The park also has a 60-foot rock wall with five lanes and an aerial obstacle course if you want to add more to your day, plus scenic hiking trails and a waterfall area where you can cool off afterward. A locker is provided for your belongings while you're on the course.
