Ziplining & ATV at Coral Crater from Waikīkī
Control both the ground and the air in one afternoon
This combo activity at Coral Crater pairs three ziplines through the jungle canopy with a guided off-road ATV course, all in one 2.5-hour session. You'll operate a side-by-side ATV over hills, berms and rugged terrain, switching between driver and passenger roles with your partner, then strap into a zipline system with automatic braking that handles your speed for you. A professional guide leads both sections. Round-trip shuttle from Waikīkī is optional.
The experience
The day splits cleanly: start on the ATV course, where you and a partner share one vehicle and take turns at the wheel. The technical layout mixes challenging terrain with smoother runs, and your guide walks you through basic off-road techniques before you start. You'll navigate the course twice, driving one half and riding as passenger the other, so both of you get real seat time. The weight limit is 275 pounds per person, and at least one person in your booking needs to be 18 with a valid driver's license to operate the ATV.
After the ATV section, you'll hike short distances and climb stairs to reach the zipline platform. The three lines carry you through Coral Crater's jungle canopy on a state-of-the-art braking system that controls your descent automatically. You don't manage your own speed or stopping. Experienced guides handle the setup and gear you up with a helmet and harness. The whole activity runs about 2.5 hours from start to finish. If you book the shuttle option, the van picks you up in Waikīkī (allow 45 minutes each way for travel), or you can drive yourself to Coral Crater and save that cost.
Wear closed-toe shoes (Crocs and water shoes are fine), and secure long hair with a tie or clip. Participants need average mobility to handle the short hikes and stairs. Minimum age to drive the ATV is 18. Anyone under 18 can ride as a passenger. Souvenir photos are available for purchase at $35 if you want a record of the day.

Is this one for you?Book with transportation if you're staying in Waikīkī and want to skip the drive. Book without it if you have a rental car or prefer to meet at Coral Crater itself. Either way, you're splitting the ATV with a partner, so this works best when you're comfortable taking turns behind the wheel.
