The experience

You arrive at Coral Crater and spend 30 minutes before your start time getting fitted with gear and learning the setup from your guide. Then you move to the first platform, clip in, and push off across the first line, using the braking system to control your speed as you travel between towers. The guide meets you at each landing, confirms you're ready, and sends you across the next line. Three ziplines means three separate runs through the canopy, each one a chance to find your rhythm on the equipment.

The whole experience takes about an hour from check-in to finish. Closed-toe shoes are required (Crocs and water shoes count), and the activity is open to anyone 6 and up. If you're booking the option with transportation, the roundtrip Waikiki shuttle picks you up and drops you back, which removes the logistics of finding the park on your own. If you're picking the no-transport option, you'll need to arrange your own way there. Either way, your guide is with you the entire time, handling the technical side so you can focus on the ride itself.

The activity is suitable for all physical fitness levels. You do need to be at least 6 years old and weigh no more than 275 lbs. Weight must be entered at booking.

How long does the whole thing take?

Plan about an hour from check-in to finish. Arrive 30 minutes before your start time for gear fitting and orientation.

What if I'm staying in Waikiki? Do I have to book the shuttle?

The shuttle is optional. If you book it, roundtrip transport from Waikiki is included for the 10am departure. Otherwise you arrange your own way to Coral Crater.
