The experience
You've got an evening free in Wilmington and want to see the city without a car. This tour starts with check-in and a safety session on a state-of-the-art e-bike, then heads straight to the Riverwalk, where you'll ride nearly two miles alongside the historic Cape Fear River. The route runs from Nunn Street to the Isabella Holmes Bridge, passing markets, boutiques, art galleries and outdoor cafes. Conlon Pier marks a popular spot for river views, and the north end opens onto a marina and concert venue. The e-bikes do the work. You control the pace and can stop to take in the scene.
From the Riverwalk, the tour loops around Greenfield Lake on a 5-7 mile biking trail through gardens. Your guide leads the way and captures photos and video along the route. The whole outing runs 1 hour and 15 minutes, leaving you back in town with time to grab dinner. You can choose your own e-bike at the start, and upgrades are free if you want a different model.

Top questions
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Youth (13 to 18 years). Children under 13 can't be included in the booking.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What's the Riverwalk like, and how much of it do we cover?
The Riverwalk stretches nearly two miles along the Cape Fear River from Nunn Street to the Isabella Holmes Bridge, lined with over 200 shops, restaurants, galleries and outdoor cafes. You'll ride this scenic section and stop at spots like Conlon Pier, where the river views are best.
Do I need to be an experienced cyclist to do this tour?
You should have ridden a bicycle within the last seven years and have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. The e-bikes are powerful and handle the pedaling, but you'll be riding for about 75 minutes with some hills around Greenfield Lake.
What happens if I'm not comfortable on the e-bike once we start?
The tour includes a safety and training session before you leave, so you'll practice on the e-bike and get comfortable with it. If you arrive and find you cannot ride, the operator cannot issue a refund, so the pre-tour briefing is important.
What's included in the price, and what do I need to bring?
The tour includes the e-bike rental, helmet, licensed guide, photos and videos taken by the guide, and mandatory bike insurance covering up to $500 in damages. You choose your own e-bike model at check-in, and upgrades are free. Bring nothing except yourself. Arrive 20 minutes early.

Children are welcome from age 13. Riders must be at least 4'6" tall, and e-bike weight limits apply: up to 260 lbs on the larger models and 200–240 lbs on the smaller ones.
