The Experience

The Escape Game DC sits in Penn Quarter, a few blocks from the White House and the National Mall, so you can build it into a full day around the city. You walk in with your team, and a dedicated game guide briefs you on the mission. Then the door locks, and the clock starts. Sixty minutes to find clues hidden in the room, solve the puzzles they unlock, and complete whatever mission the game has set. Prison Break has you breaking out from an evil warden. Special Ops puts you undercover as a secret agent hunting for truth in a mysterious market. The Heist sends you after a stolen masterpiece. The Depths takes you down in a submarine. The game ends at sixty minutes. Your guide will help you finish the story and you'll debrief together. Plenty of teams don't escape on their first try — it's part of the challenge.
