The Experience
Waikiki Beach Walk sits on the second floor of the hotel, a retreat from the noise and foot traffic of the area below. The salon itself is clean and comfortable, designed as a space to actually relax in rather than pass through. You arrive, pick which of the four massage styles suits what your body needs that day — Combination, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Swedish or Shiatsu — and then spend the next hour on the table while the therapist works.
The massage runs 60 minutes. Guides work in English and Japanese, so language is not a barrier. Public transportation options are nearby if you are not staying at the hotel, and the activity suits all fitness levels, so there is no physical barrier to booking. Tip and the menu fee are included in the price.
