The experience
You board a boat and head into the salt marsh ecosystem where the Lowcountry's wildlife lives. The route takes you through serene water where dolphins often surface and wading birds hunt the shallows. The guide watches for them as you glide through, then anchors and sets up the tubing. You climb into the tube, the boat accelerates, and you're pulled across the water at speed while holding tight to the handles.
The whole outing runs two and a half hours from start to finish. Tubing equipment is included and ready when you arrive. You just need to bring water, snacks and sunscreen, and wear clothes you don't mind getting wet. The guide speaks English and stays with the group the entire time, managing the boat and watching for wildlife. Infants and small children can come along in a stroller or pram if they're not tubing themselves.

It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What should I wear for a tubing tour in the Lowcountry?
Wear clothing suitable for water activities: anything you don't mind getting soaked. Bring sunscreen, water and snacks. The guide provides the tubing equipment and life jackets.
Will we actually see dolphins on this tour?
Dolphins live in the Lowcountry salt marsh, and the guide keeps watch for them as you boat through. Sightings happen often, but wildlife is never guaranteed on any given day.

Yes. Infants and small children can ride in a stroller or pram during the boating portion. Kids old enough to hold on can tube behind the boat with the guide's supervision.
