The experience

The tour runs five hours and moves between four of Temecula's established wineries on a party bus, so the group stays together and nobody drives. You get 18 ounces of wine tastings, the equivalent of three glasses, spread across three different wineries, plus a wine production tour where you taste straight from the barrels in the production room and learn how the wine is made. South Coast Winery, Temecula's largest and most famous, is always on the route. The other stops rotate through Somerset, Callaway, and Maurice Carrie.

Your guide handles the schedule and coordinates with each winery so you move on time. Bottled water comes along during the drive between stops and during lunch. If your group reaches 10 or more people, the tour becomes private and includes a complimentary champagne toast at pickup. The guide photographs the day throughout, so you leave with images of the group. Lunch is available at Maurice Carrie Winery but must be pre-ordered by email and paid on the day of the tour. Outside food is not permitted.

A live guide leads the tour in English, Spanish, or German depending on your booking. The minimum age is 21. Pickup happens at a designated location (your ticket will specify which one), and public transportation options are nearby if you need an alternative.
