The Experience
You're standing in a locked room with sixty minutes on the clock and nothing but clues scattered around you. Then the guide steps out, the door clicks shut, and suddenly the mall outside—the shops, the restaurants, the everyday noise—feels a thousand miles away. That's the shift: one moment you're browsing Sawgrass Mills, the next you're solving a puzzle to save the future or uncover a secret agent's truth. The Escape Game Sunrise sits right there in the mall, which means you can grab lunch at Seasons 52 or The Cheesecake Factory before or after, but once you're in, the only mission that matters is getting out.
You pick one of five games—Timeliner: Train Through Time is the newest, but there's also Gold Rush if you want to hunt for hidden fortune, or The Depths if you'd rather navigate a submarine underwater. Each one is built for up to eight people, and you work as a team to find clues, solve puzzles, and complete whatever mission the room sets. A dedicated game guide is there to help if you get stuck, and the whole thing is designed to be intense but not scary or dark. Before the hour starts, you'll spend about fifteen minutes getting briefed on what you're doing; after you escape (or time runs out), there's another fifteen minutes to debrief and take photos. So plan for roughly ninety minutes total at the location.
The games aren't meant to feel like the dark, claustrophobic escape rooms you might've heard about—these are adventurous and meant for families, though they're recommended for ages thirteen and up because some puzzles can be tricky for younger kids. Anyone under fourteen needs an adult in the room with them, and everyone under eighteen needs a parent or guardian to sign the waiver. There's an exit button on every door if someone needs to leave, and the whole experience is designed so you're not actually trapped—you're just racing against time to solve your way out.
What’s included

Operated by The Escape Game Sunrise
Is this one for you?Right for groups of friends, families, or coworkers who want a break from the mall and an hour of focused teamwork—the locked door and the clock are what make the puzzle-solving feel real, not gimmicky.
