St. Augustine's Nights of Lights transforms the bayfront into a glowing landscape each holiday season, and the best vantage point is from the water. A cruise past the Bridge of Lions and Castillo de San Marcos gives you unobstructed views of the illuminated landmarks: the kind of sight line a trolley or walking tour can't match. You'll float past the sweeping holiday display while live music plays, and the 3-D glasses handed out at boarding turn the twinkling lights into something almost three-dimensional, sharper and more vivid than they look to the naked eye.

The two tour options let you shape the experience around what you want to see. The 2-hour Sunset option catches the sky's transformation from golden to dark while the lights gradually appear, layering the city's natural beauty with its artificial glow. The 1.5-hour Evening Tour skips the sunset and goes straight to the full nighttime display when the lights are at their brightest. Both cruises include complimentary beer, wine, margaritas, champagne, hot chocolate, soda and water. Holiday cookies and bagged snacks round out the spread. Infants sit on an adult's lap at no extra charge. Guests 14 and younger must have an adult accompany them on the tour, and anyone 17 and younger needs a chaperone to sign their waiver at check-in. If you're planning to drink, you'll need to be 21 or older. Public transportation options are available near the departure point, and the cruise is suitable for all fitness levels.
