The whole thing takes about 90 minutes from arrival to debrief, which fits neatly into an evening downtown.

You pick one of five games: Gold Rush (hunt for hidden gold in the California hills), Prison Break (the hardest one — escape from an evil warden), Special Ops: Mysterious Market (play secret agent), The Heist (recover stolen art), or Playground (finish your report card and get to summer break). Each one is spread across multiple rooms, and you'll work together to find clues, solve puzzles, and figure out how to get out before time runs out. A dedicated game guide stays with you the whole time and helps if you get stuck. The games aren't dark or scary — they're designed to be exciting and adventurous, which means kids as young as 13 can play, though younger ones are allowed if an adult joins them.

Groups can be up to 8 players in most games, or 12 if you book Playground. Before you start, you'll spend about 15 minutes getting briefed on your mission. After you escape (or don't), there's another 15 minutes to debrief and take photos. If you don't book all the spots, you might share the room with other teams — which some people like and others don't, so that's worth knowing upfront. Every room has a locked door, but there's an exit button if anyone needs to leave at any time.
