Step-by-step itinerary

- Cruise along Pensacola Naval Air Station coast
- View Pensacola Lighthouse from water
- Stop at remote beach for visit
- Return to departure point
The experience
You board a private powerboat (either the Jolly'Ventures or Jolly Roger) sized for your group and built for comfort. The captain handles navigation while you settle into full shade and watch the water. Over the next three hours, you'll cover a 20-plus-mile round trip that takes in the Pensacola Naval Air Station, known as the Cradle of Naval Aviation, and the Pensacola Lighthouse standing on the bay since 1859. The boat cruises close enough to the Naval Air Station to show you a big part of Pensacola's history from the water.
Dolphins often appear along the route, though sightings are never guaranteed. The real draw is the remote beach stop: the boat beaches right up to the sand, so you step straight off without wading or transfers. Families with small children find this stop works for all ages. You'll have time to walk, swim, or simply sit on the sand before heading back. Restroom access aboard means you don't have to plan around facilities on shore.
This is a private charter, so you're not sharing the boat with strangers. The captain is English-speaking and knows what to point out. Bottled water comes with the booking. Weather and water conditions drive the schedule. If conditions turn rough, the operator will attempt advance notice and either reschedule your cruise or refund in full.
