Can we really only see Caladesi Island by boat?

Caladesi Island is a barrier island with no bridge to the mainland, so boat access is the only way to get there. Captain Chris anchors off the shoreline so you can wade, swim or walk the beach depending on the tide and what you want to do.

What happens if the weather turns bad on the day of our charter?

All charters are customizable based on weather and guest preference. Captain Chris will adjust the route or stops to keep you safe and comfortable. If conditions are unsafe for boating, the operator will work with you on rescheduling.

Do we need to bring food, or is it provided?

Food is not included, so bring snacks or lunch if you want to eat during the 5 hours. Cooler, ice and bottled water come aboard. You're welcome to bring beer, wine or canned drinks (no glass).

How many people can fit on the boat?

Salt Therapy is a private charter for up to six guests, so your whole group travels together without anyone else on board.

Will we definitely see dolphins?

Dolphins and manatees are common in the protected waters around Honeymoon Island and the other stops, especially in calm conditions, but sightings are never guaranteed. Captain Chris knows where they're most likely to appear and will position the boat to give you the best chance.
