The Experience

What makes this different from a dock-based snorkel is the sailboat itself—you're not ferried out and dropped; you're sailing. The Daydreams leaves Panama City Beach and heads into historic Grand Lagoon first, where dolphins often swim alongside the boat. The captain watches for them and points them out as you move through the water. Once you reach Shell Island and the shallow snorkel zones, you gear up and get in. The water is calm enough for all fitness levels, and the crew helps you plan which spots to explore—some people hunt for shells on the seafloor, others chase the fish and coral. You're in the water maybe an hour, then back aboard to dry off and move to the next part.

The boat has a bow for sunbathing, an aft seating area, a salon, galley and cabins, so there's room to spread out between swims.
