The experience
Every Thursday at Neon Paint Place, you walk into a blacklight-lit studio with music playing and a blank canvas in front of you. Unlike guided paint nights where an instructor walks you through steps, Open Studio is yours to control. You decide what to paint, how to paint it, and how long to spend on each piece. If you want a suggestion or a creative nudge, instructors are there. If you want to work in silence and figure it out yourself, that's the night too. All paint and supplies come with your ticket. Bring your own canvas if you want to work on more than one piece or go bigger than what's provided.
The setup is built around people who want to make something that's actually theirs. Bring a friend, come solo, or make it a group night: families with kids, friends looking for something different to do on a Thursday, people who haven't painted in years. Students with a valid college or student ID get a discount. It's BYOB for guests 21 and older, so you can bring your favorite drink and pour it into the glasses provided. Snacks are welcome as long as they're nut-free. The whole thing runs about an hour, but the pace is yours.
