The experience

The first thing that hit me walking into the Kia Center was this low hum, not just noise, but that weird nervous energy you get when everyone’s waiting for something big. We’d barely found our seats (section 113, a little higher than I thought but honestly perfect for seeing the whole court) when a group of kids behind us started chanting “Let’s go Magic!” in these uneven bursts. There was this smell of popcorn and something sweet, maybe cinnamon nuts? I’m not sure, but it kind of mixed with the cold air from the arena and made me hungry even though we’d just eaten. Our local friend Marcus had told us to get there early for the pregame show, and he wasn’t kidding: the lights went down and suddenly there were lasers everywhere, bouncing off what has to be the tallest scoreboard I’ve ever seen.

I didn’t expect to get so caught up in it. The Orlando Magic were playing Miami Heat that night (apparently a big deal), and every time someone scored, people jumped up like they’d won the lottery. There’s this mascot, STUFF, who kept popping up out of nowhere doing ridiculous dances. My nephew tried to wave at him and totally missed his chance for a high five, which he still brings up. During halftime we wandered around. There’s this huge team store where you can buy all sorts of Magic gear (I caved and got a hat). Also, nine different restaurants and bars inside? Didn’t try them all obviously but grabbed some crispy chicken sliders at one spot near our section. They were better than I expected for stadium food.

What really stuck with me was how much it felt like everyone belonged there: families with little kids in jerseys, older couples sharing nachos, groups of friends yelling out stats like they’re on ESPN. Even if you don’t follow basketball religiously (I’m more of a casual fan), being part of that crowd is wild. Our tickets included access to these interactive fan areas too. My sister tried some shooting game and laughed so hard she almost dropped her phone. So yeah, if you’re looking for an Orlando Magic NBA basketball ticket that gets you right into the heart of things (not just watching but actually feeling it) this is pretty hard to beat.

What’s included

Your evening includes entry to the Kia Center for an Orlando Magic NBA game with your reserved ticket, plus access to interactive fan areas, nine restaurants and bars inside the arena, diverse food options throughout the night, and plenty of in-game entertainment from light shows to mascot antics before heading out into downtown Orlando after the final buzzer.
